SUMMARY
Ferrari owners were treated to a Bathurst 12 Hour experience like no other, when MotoKinetic were asked to work with Ferrari Australasia, and Solution Entertainment, to provide a unique experience to Ferrari Owners, VIPs, and invited guests at the famous GT endurance race.
MotoKinetic worked closely with Ferrari Australasia to create and produce a series of experiences, to make the Tifosi (aka. Ferrari fans) part of the “Racing with Ferrari” family. Providing guests with a first of it’s kind VIP Pit Garage suite, Technical tours of the race team garages, transporter, and tyre suppliers, “Top of the Mountain” tours, Driver Q&A sessions in the Ferrari VIP Corporate Suite, as well as 4 fantastic on-track sessions over the race weekend.

The VIP Pit Garage Suite was designed to sit between the two Ferrari race teams competing in the event, Maranello Motorsport, and Vicious Rumour Racing, and provide guests the ability to see directly into both pit garages during practice, qualifying, and the race, allowing uninterrupted viewing to see the drivers, engineers, and crew working on the cars; and on race day, all the excitement of pit stops seeing driver changes, fuel stops, and lightening-quick tyre changes. The all new 488 Spider was also on display outside of the Garage suite, with guests allowed access to the car from within the VIP area.
The Top of the Mountain tours took groups of guests in a private shuttle bus up to the top of the Mt Panorama circuit, to take in the breathtaking views of the tablelands, and the sights and sounds of one of the most demanding sections of race track in the world! As a bonus, MotoKinetic’s team of tour guides are all professional race drivers, and treated guests to track maps showing data and telemetry for the 458 GT3 from the 2015 race, providing guests with an insight into the speed and commitment of drivers across the top of the mountain.
On race day, Driver Q & A Sessions were facilitated by MotoKinetic’s Karl Reindler providing a very candid chat with drivers from both Ferrari teams, and the ability for Ferrari guests to ask anything in a “nothing is off limits” Q&A session.
The Enjoy Drive and Sports Drive sessions allowed guests to drive their own Ferrari on track, in four controlled sessions across the Friday and Saturday of the event. The Enjoy Drive sessions allowed drivers to take their own guests as passengers in a speed-limited session, providing most drivers with their first look of the challenging 6.213km circuit, whilst in the Sports Drive session speed limits were lifted and drivers were provided more in-depth coaching by MotoKinetic instructors, using dedicated radios for each of the groups. Over 20 Ferrari on track in all sessions provided an incredible sight, and sound, for the record crowd at the Bathurst 12 Hour!
MotoKinetic also facilitated a number of media engagements for both on-track and off-track coverage of the event.
