Duration: 2.5 days (Thursday 13th October to Saturday 15th October, 2016)

Hours: 

Thursday 13th October – 1pm to 5pm (Briefing and familiarisation on site)

Friday 14th & Saturday 15th October – 7:30am to 6:00pm

Description:

Supporting the MotoKinetic event team, and reporting to the Production Manager, the role will be based in the commentary suite, and outside broadcast production vehicle during event activation days. MotoKinetic provide event management services to the world class event, World Time Attack Challenge, and the role is part of a team of over 70 staff on site each day.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisational skills, confidence and the ability to liaise with all levels of professionals. Live event experience, or media/TV production experience is preferred.

The role will include

• – working with the Production Manager and production team to ensure successful delivery of information to our commentary and presenting team
• – operate a Microsoft Windows-based software package for a public Visual Messaging Service (training on software and laptop is provided)
• – provide written notes to the commentators and presenters with information relating to their on-screen messaging
• – using 2-way radios to communicate with the event team

The role is ideally suited to someone Sydney based, as travel and accommodation are not covered in the package. On-site parking, event accreditation, event uniform, and daily lunches will be provided.
